Description:
Northland
MolyTac II is an extreme-duty, multi-purpose grease, developed
for the most demanding on and off highway construction,
fleet, mining, heavy-duty automotive, and industrial applications.
MolyTac II is a lithium complex grease offering extremely
high load carrying capability. This high viscosity base
oil grease provides exceptional oxidative stability, excellent
water washout resistance, and superior grease stability
for extended or severe-duty. A delicate balance of molybdenum
disulfide (3%), special polymers, and proven extreme pressure
additives assure outstanding performance and state of the
art protection under the most extreme operating conditions.
When
compared with conventional lithium based greases, Northland
MolyTac II will provide superior grease retention, improved
boundary lubrication, and an added margin of wear protection.
Applications:
MolyTac II is formulated for severe
service in applications demanding a multi-purpose, highly
compatible, premium quality lithium complex grease. Typical
applications include highly shock loaded grease points on
mining and off-highway construction equipment, on-highway
trucks, industrial bearing sets, and severe marine applications.
Due to the high viscosity base oil and 3% Moly contents, MolyTac
II is not recommended in high-speed wheel bearing applications
or sealed for life applications. Consult your Northland Technical
Representative for specific application recommendations.
